Dec. 4 My Newest Addition December 3, 2009

This is my newest addition, the animated Parkway Diner sign.  It is from Micro-Structures.  It only took about 15 minutes to install.  I had to cut a 1" slot for the connector and ribbon cable in the Paper Mache and tunnel from the back through about 6" of foam.  It is powered from three AAA batteries now but I intend to build a 4.5 volt regulator and power it from 12 volts.  The Diner portion is lit continuously and the lights around it are in chase mode. The pink pointers chase inside to out also.

When viewed on a 19" monitor at 800 x 600 resolution everything is very close to actual size.
